The biggest seller on any Fire Station Open Day or Event without doubt is the toy yellow fire helmet. We were the only British manufacturer of the Pacific style yellow plastic fire helmets with a visor, until we were informed that to re-order the specialised plastic would cost us nearly £30,000. We could not afford this huge price hike, therefore we are now importing an exceptionally good replacement.
The American style helmet is made from a stiff good quality yellow plastic, it has a visor and an adjustable head band. They are shipped in boxes of 48 helmets with each box being priced at £150 (which includes delivery and VAT), The recommended resale price and the price we sell the helmet to the public is £5.00 each, they are normally priced for between £8.70 to £11.79 on Ebay. This means for every helmet sold for £5,00, £1.875 or 37.5% is profit.
To help with your fundraising, if you over-order for, or under-sell the helmets at the event, if you return (at your own cost) the unsold helmets, we will refund you for each box returned. This only applies to complete undamaged boxes of 48 helmets. We can also make the collection arrangement for you.
